User Interface

Most of the other mobile phones of Samsung of standard range released till date have classic type user interface. Phones with classic interface are easy to use but at the same time, it doesn’t reflect style and value of itself. But Samsung Galaxy Ace has something different from these phones i.e. user interface of this phone is much better and stylish. Menu of Samsung Galaxy Ace contains lots of app whose icons are displayed in dozen per page. All the icons are animated and whenever you tap on any icon for launching it, it flips and changes to black main menu which is very familiar in Android phones. Hence, it has better user interface when compared to the Samsung smart phones manufactured before.

 Camera and Image Quality                                                

When we consider camera and image quality of Samsung Galaxy Ace, it is not much attractive because the camera is not that good as per its price. It has a 5 MP camera along with other camera features like LED flash and auto focus. It has smile and face detection options and geo tagging option is also available. But there is no front camera in this smart phone. Apart from this, images which are captured from its 5MP camera are just a bit better from average quality. When you see video that is captured from this phone you will feel disappointed because it is not satisfactory. Videos taken from this phone don’t look perfect in its 3.5 inch screen even. Hence, if you very fond of capturing snaps and videos frequently then you should not buy this phone because you will feel disappointed later.

When it comes to calling and contacts, this phone is fair because there is ease of calling. This is because you can simply open contacts and call as it has user friendly interface in calling and contacts. Adding to it, you can join a contact to Facebook and twitter so it is a good feature for individuals who love social networking. History section is good because along with received and dialed calls, you can also find received and sent messages.

On the other hand, when there are many contacts saved in your Samsung Galaxy Ace, you may feel irritating while you are scrolling because this process happens slowly. This reflects that it has only 800MHz processor. When you are talking to anyone during a call, volume of voice increases which makes clarity of sound almost grainy sometimes. But when it doesn’t become grainy, it may act as a blessing for the user.

As the screen and picture quality of this phone is not much good, viewing pages during browsing internet becomes difficult. When you are viewing any text, most of the times you have to pinch it for zooming as reading text of a webpage are next to impossible. Even if you are a hard mobile user, i.e. you use navigation application several times and keep some application running in background for long time, you will need to charge your phone after approx 48 hours. Low speed processor and screen of low quality play a positive role here as it enables the battery to provide better stand by. As good very is very important for a smart phone, battery of Galaxy Ace is perfect to play its role.

Connectivity

When connectivity of Samsung Galaxy Ace is considered it is good because it has multiple connectivity options. It has USB 2.0 for sharing your files from phone to computer or vice versa. Bluetooth 2.1 enables the owner of phone to share files to and from other mobile phones without connecting them via any wire. Adding to it, it has Wi-Fi which enables the owner to browse internet. Connectivity of everything is quite good as it does not get disconnected when directions are seen in phone or during 3G and when internet is used by Wi-Fi.

Along with this, you can also get some games from Android market but remember that all games doesn’t runs in this phone because it lacks Flash Player. Overall rating of this phone should be 6.5 out of 10 because of many reasons. First, the good things of this phone are its animated icons, storage capacity, light weight, battery life and extra options. Things which would have been better are camera and screen clarity, its slow processor, small screen and a secondary camera.

It has many pros and cons but the most important of all are listed here. First pros of this phone is its weight as it is lighter than iPhone 4S which enables the user to carry it easily. Its stylish user interface is Pros because it has attracted many people to buy this phone and it is also the reason for the owners to love Galaxy Ace. Battery also comes in the category of pros because it has excellent battery life which allows the user to use it for hours without charging. When considering its cons, bad picture quality and poor screen clarity are really disappointing. There is no option of uninstalling preloaded applications of this phone. The last con of this phone is that a dedicated camera key is absent.
